Where All Do We Deliver?

We deliver to all and any postal address around the world. Courier companies do not deliver to P.O.Box address, so we request you to provide full street address with pin code / zip code.

Please note that residential shipments to USA & some other countries will be left at door if someone is not there to receive the package or no one answers the door bell. Our courier agents USPS / DHL / FEDEX / TNT / UPS / SpeedPost etc will not be able to provide sign confirmation of delivery made in such cases.

 
 

To ensure that no disputes arise due to this, kindly make sure that someone is there to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted.

No deliveries are made on Saturdays and Sundays in most countries where 5 day work culture. In many Islamic countries Fridays are normal off days. Sometimes we can try to organize deliveries on Saturdays also on some extra cost on case to case basis.

Further, deliveries are generally made during normal working hours of courier companies and these vary from country to country.

Please note that there are no shipments made from the store on Sundays and public holidays as our logistics partner, does not make any pick-ups on those days.

Calculating Cost

Shipping cost is not built in each items price. You get the benefit of reduced shipping cost on each additional item. Fair & transparent shipping rates.

Please also note that the shipping rates are weight based. The weight of any product can be found on its detail page. To match the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next 500 grams.

International shipping and handling rates is based on the size of your order: the larger your order, the lower the rate.

Shipping Gifts to India

We take great pride in being able to offer FREE SHIPPING to any address in India to our customers with family and friends back home. To ensure the quickest confirmed delivery on all orders to India, please be sure to include the complete postal address with the correct PIN code. We cannot be responsible for postal delays resulting from incomplete address listings.

Also be aware that all shipments to any Girls College/School/Hostel are placed at the customer's risk. If the school's warden does not accept your package or it is refused for any reason, Avishkaar Collection will under no circumstances issue a refund or credit to the customer's account, nor shall Avishkaar Collection attempt re-shipment of the same order. For a special or preferred delivery date, the sender must mention the delivery date in the gift message box when placing their order. If the order does not contain any delivery date, then it will be delivered at the first opportunity, as soon as possible.

Transit Times

We ship all orders by fastest possible air courier services like USPS, DHL, TNT, Speed Post etc and they deliver within 48-72 hours across USA, Europe and all major cities of Middle and Far East.

If you are looking for alternate shipping options, then cheaper and slower shipping options can be suggested. On request, we can also make special quotes for shipping if the merchandise order amount is large. Please write on info@Avishkaar.com for more details.
If you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days, because of varying item availability and shipping locations. Often, products will be shipped separately from one another for added safety in transit, so you may receive more than one delivery to your address.

Please note that all the products will be shipped from India.

Transit Risk

Avishkaar COLLECTION ships all parcels as fully insured at no extra cost to customers. If Courier Company fails to deliver, you do not suffer any loss. In-transit risk is all ours. But Avishkaar Collection will not responsible for lost and stolen packages or any full or partial damages to the package after being left at customer's address by postal / courier agency.

Shipment and Tracking Details

We will send you an email regarding the shipment of your order, as soon as the items are handed over to the Courier. These alert emails will contain the tracking number and courier companies website details along with expected date of delivery. You may also check the same on our order status page or by logging in to the My Account section on our site.

Tracking numbers for orders shipped might take 24 business hours to become active on the courier websites.

Address Change Requests

Once an order is registered, you cannot make any alterations. However, address alteration requests may be accommodated within 24 hours of placing the order. You may send your alteration request to info@Avishkaar.com and the needful will be done.

Multiple Address Order

Currently this option is not available. However, if you want to send the product to different addresses, you can place multiple orders.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Please note: some courier companies charge a penalty for incorrect shipping addresses, wherein the address and zip code do not match. The customer will, without exception, bear the cost of any such penalties and/or fees, not Avishkaar COLLECTION. Please make sure your shipping address is correct.

In the event of a reshipment of the same order, customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges for the reshipment.

Packing Method

All products are first polythene packed then put in corrugated box. All orders are shipped by 1st Class Air courier services and home delivered within approximately 3-5 working days after dispatch of the shipment.

Time to Ship

For each item we have mentioned time to ship along with the item image. These are only indicative and approximate values, and items can be shipped earlier or later on case to case basis depending on availability of item and other factors.

It is advisable to email us with the item codes to get more accurate time to ship estimate.

We are proud to offer such shipping values to our customers, especially when paired with our fast delivery times. In most cases, your order will be processed within 48-72 hours of your placing it. You can expect to receive your order, on average, within 7 -15 business days of placing the order.

What if Any Delays?

Times to ship mentioned on our website against each item are indicative and approximate values only and sometimes due to situations beyond our control, delays may occur. No refund, returns, replacement & exchange will be entertained for this reason.

However benefits such as some store credit to be used for future orders, free gift etc can be allowed on case to case basis.

If, for any reason, there is going to be a delay in shipping because a item is out of stock or If there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail

However any dates for delivery are approximate only and we are not liable for any delay in delivering your order or any part of it. We may choose to deliver your order in separate parts. In some cases we may offer to refund you for unfulfilled part of the order.

VAT & Custom Duties

VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. They vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer. VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our ordering process, but may be charged to you by your government.

International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict where they will occur, as policies vary greatly from nation to nation.

They are entirely your responsibility. The courier company may also charge some additional service charges over and above custom duty on case to case basis.

Express Ship Section

Express section (Ready to Ship Section) is a special section that allows you to place a last minute order ensuring the delivery of the product within the next 5-7 days. Only specified products are listed under the 'Express Section' the list of which is provided online. For further information, please view the Express Section.

The product will be at your doorstep within 5-7 working days of your payment having been cleared. If the order needs customization then additional 5-7 days are needed.

Billing Address and Shipping Address

Billing Address is the address where a customer gets his bills from the credit card company. Shipping address is the address where the customer wants to receive their shipment.

What happens if my order is lost in transit?

Returns

Your complete shopping satisfaction is our No.1 Priority. We want you happy each and every time you buy from us. However if due to some unforeseen situation you are not happy with the product then the following terms apply for a mutually consented resolution of the situation.

We do our best to make sure you never need to use this policy. But still for theory purpose here it is :- If an item you ordered from Avishkaar.com does not meet your expectations do write to us and we will happily try to assist you.

We are dedicated at Avishkaar.com to offer you the best quality in our products and our services. We know that mistakes are sometimes made though, and we are here to help remedy those problems.

We take stringent measures to ensure that the items delivered to you are in perfect condition. However, there is a remote possibility that:

  • The item may be damaged during transit.
  • Or there might be a manufacturing defect.
  • Or that a wrong item is delivered to you by mistake.

Item Received in Damaged Condition / Manufacturing Defect or Wrong Item

If you have received a damaged item or if the item you received was not the item you ordered or if it was misrepresented on our site, please contact us by email within 24 hours of your receipt of the product. It is important that you save all packing materials as well as the item itself. When you reach us, we'll give you instructions on how to proceed.

  • We will express ship a replacement item at the earliest possible with no extra shipping cost to you
  • If the original ordered item is no longer possible then we will request you to choose an alternate item and express ship the same to you with no extra shipping cost to you. We will communicate with you about your wishes to make sure you will be happy with the exchange.
  • If you do not want any alternate item then we will refund you in full with no deduction whatsoever.
  • Or any other amicable resolution as mutually agreed with you.

Here Are Some Important & Helpful Guidelines on Returns

  • Always email us first if you have a problem on info@Avishkaar.com
  • Always be sure to report your problem within 24 hours of receiving the item in question
  • Never send back a item without consulting with us. It's very important that you DO NOT send the item back to us until you have verified with us and no credit or replacement shall be given on such items.
  • Always report any and all problems associated with a single order/package delivery at the same time. Be as specific as possible when describing the problem, as all returned items are examined for defects / variations.
  • Always return your items using registered airmail / courier as advised in our return authorization mail.
  • Any shipping costs of sending back to India above what customer paid for shipping charges while receiving them from India are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Please return within 7 working days of confirmation from our end, and with original packing & in original condition (please, no worn, washed, used or altered items). Please ensure to include a copy of the invoice you received.
  • We will examine the garment you return, figure out what went wrong, and take immediate steps to prevent such problems from reoccurring.
  • As safe delivery to you is our responsibility, in the same way sending back safely to us is your responsibility. If something happens in transit and the package doesn't get delivered to us, we cannot help you. So make sure to send thru suggested postal service in our return authorization mail only and forward the details to us and keep the airway bill or postal receipt till it gets delivered to us.

Please mark the items as defective returns and not for sale and declare a low nominal value.

For any complain / dissatisfaction with sizing and styling ( all stitched items ) -
We believe our customers understand that even if they get something custom tailored locally, multiple sessions of trial and alterations are needed before the desired fit, pattern & look can be created.

Better fitting suggestion - If you do not have facilities of local alterations or do not have access to someone who can help you with alterations, we strongly suggest you to use our more safer measurement options, which will minimize any chances of error:-

  • Buy unstitched items from us and get them tailored by your personal stylist or boutique
  • Try to choose as shown options to minimize errors.
  • Try to choose from standard sizes as given in our size chart as risk is more if you choose customization option.
  • Send your best fitting garment as sample.
  • Ask us to send you the dummy garment for the fittings & style approval before we start working on your original outfit or item

If error is ours

  • We will do free alterations & modifications. We will bear the shipping charges
  • Or send free replacement if not possible to repair. We will bear shipping charges
  • If replacement is no longer available then we will request you to choose some other alternative item from our website.
  • No refund can be issued under any circumstances.
  • We will request the customer to ship back the item to us in India for alterations at our cost or arrange a pick up from their address and send them back after correction or if not possible to correct then ship replacement item with no extra cost to the customer.

If error is yours

  • Still we will do free alterations & modifications
  • We are the only company to offer free alteration facility to our valued customers. No questions asked. In some rare cases when additional original fabric is no longer available then we might have to use matching color plain fabric for alteration.
  • Customer will bear both ways shipping charges and in very rare cases cost of replacement fabric.
  • Not withstanding the above or any other provision, we are under no obligation to accept any returns or provide any replacements or exchange or store credit. We have sole discretion in deciding whether to accept the returns or not depending on the merit of the case

Item availability failure

In case of multiple goods being ordered, if the delivery is not possible for certain items, customers will be requested to select alternate items or if no alternate selection is desired by customer then she will be promptly refunded against the non-delivered goods or services along with their shipping charges.

Credit Issuals

All credits to be posted to a customer's credit card account takes about 3 to 5 business days to be processed. The corresponding bank of the customers may take about 2 business days to actually post these to the customer's accounts from the date we processed the credits. Customers can check these credits in their next credit card statement.

Be Extra Alert when Accepting Parcel from Courier

If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, do verify the items quality and quantity with invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable remark on the proof of delivery. Also lodge proper complain with the local office of the courier agency, so that we may pursue them.

Color & Description Disclaimer

The details of the products or product specifications (for instance weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product displays are only approximate values.

While every endeavor has been made to accurately reproduce colors, there may be minor variations in color of the actual product because of the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display output due to lighting and digital photography and color settings and capabilities of monitors.

A customer must place an order keeping in mind this minor variation in color as seen on a computer screen against the actual color of the outfit received.

Avishkaar COLLECTION firmly believes that all the customers who order online are aware that colors seen on a monitor will be slightly different as compared to the actual outfits or accessories ordered.

It is practically impossible for Avishkaar COLLECTION to replicate the same colors on an outfit as seen on your monitor. A variation in the shade selected by you is considered as a normal practice as these garments have a tendency to reflect different shades of a color under different light and weather, type of camera used for photography or type and settings on the computer monitor.

We wish to clarify and ascertain that every customer who orders any outfit from Avishkaar is aware of this genuine problem.
While ordering on internet, we suggest that customers should be extra careful of following -

  • Red, maroon and orange colors have a higher tendency to reflect a different shade than other colors. For example even if you yourself try to photograph from a digital camera or scan a red garment, in most of the cases it will show either as maroon or orange on the computer monitor and vice versa. Though imaging technology has advanced, still no fool proof solution to this problem is available at the moment.
  • Many a times green and blue shades also overlap. Same is the case with off-white, white and cream colors.
  • Sea Green color sometimes looks Aqua blue and the other way around.
  • Some fabrics like raw silk, khadi silk, cotton silk, south cotton, brocade have a textured effect where we can see the weaving & threads are visible in different directions which is a inherent characteristic or feature of that fabric and proof of its authenticity. These are not defects. This raw finish is the beauty of these fabrics.
  • Handcrafted, hand dyed, hand printed, hand painted, hand embroidered, handloom, hand weaved products will always have minor differences when we compare them as they are not made by machines. Each piece will be unique. Handicraft artisans always try their best to make each piece better than the previous one. So, the product will always have minor variation keeping the same theme constant in artistic manner. The raw finish of the handicrafts cannot be compared with machine finished products as this raw finish is the beauty of the handicrafts items.

Beads and Sequences missing or Coming off

we believe that customers who are ordering items with sequence and other beaded embroidery are aware of the fact that these shiny embellishments have a tendency to come off. Even with the best of handling and care this cannot be avoided altogether. Many a times during strict physical checking at the customs during transit, more than usual sequences and beads come off. Many a times it may happen that you open a box and find some pieces falling down on the floor. Or you wear the dress and in few hours you might loose some of them. Do not panic or over-react because if you look with a magnifying glass at any such dresses / sarees worn by others, you will most certainly find some pieces missing or almost at a state of falling down.
